What is Stay Safe?
After the successful launch last year of Stay Safe for Older People we are delighted to announce that we will be holding the Stay Safe Annual Conference on Tuesday 1st October 2019 from 9:30am to 3pm (United Nations Day of the Older Person).
Where is Stay Safe Annual Conference taking place?
It will take place in the historic location of The Wren House at the Royal Chelsea Hospital.
Many Royal Hospital veterans will be joining us too, in their distinguished red Chelsea Pensioner uniforms.
Who is taking part in the Stay Safe?
We look forward to welcoming key influencers and representative groups involved in the care and welfare of older people and have distinguished speakers from Age UK London, Care UK, Friends Against Scams, Trading Standards Team and RoSPA. We hope everyone will take full advantage of this unique opportunity to meet and network with one another. We have had a great response and it promises to be an invaluable event.
Who is invited?
This is a free invitation-only event for influencers involved in the support of carers and older people. We would be most grateful if you could please let us know if there are other individuals and organisations who would benefit from this event. We would like it to be truly inclusive and representative of some of the most influential and proactive organisations supporting older people and those caring for them.
What to expect on the day?
After an introduction and welcome from Carolyn Cripps OBE Fit for Safety & Emma Hammett RGN First Aid for Life there is a vibrant link up of experts and key influencers involved in the care of older people. These include:
